18th-century speckled and panelled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with double blind fillets to form a border and panel with blind tools at the corners; gilt fillet on board edges; painted turn-ins in an alternating black and brown pattern. Spine with seven raised bands, decorated with gilt tools, fillets and titling over red label ("Genealogical history of the kings & queens of England"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated wove paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
