?18th-century mottled ?calfskin over pasteboards. Covers undecorated; transversal blind fillets on board edges and turn-ins. Spine rebacked with six raised bands, decorated with gilt tools, fleurons, and titling ("Splendor urbis Venetiarum"). Textblock trimmed and dyed red (faded). Endpapers of undecorated wove paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
