Binding
19th-century calfskin over mill/pasteboards. Covers decorated with gilt fillets to form a border; blind fillets to form a criss-cross design across the entire board; gilt roll on board edges and turn-ins. Spine with five raised bands decorated with gilt fillets, rolls, and titling ("Whitaker's history of Craven"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated laid paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
