?18th-century polished and speckled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with blind fillets to make two concentric rectangular panels (the inner one is polished, the other two speckled) with blind tools at the corners. Spine with six raised bands, decorated with blind fillets, gilt tools and titling ("Le vray theatre d'honnevr"; "Colombierre"; "1648"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red (now mostly faded). Endpapers of undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
