Reverse calfskin over ?pasteboards. Covers decorated with double black fillets to form a border. Spine with six raised bands, decorated with black fillets, dotted roll and tools, gilted titling over beige morocco label ("Ashmole's Order of the Garter"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of modern undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
