?17th-century dark brown calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with double gilt fillets to form a border (faded); gilt fillet on board edges (mostly faded). Spine with six raised bands, decorated with blind and gilt fillets, gilt titling over lighter brown label ("Favin's theatre of honour"). Textblock trimmed and dyed red (almost completely faded). Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
(Copy 2) 17th century speckled sheep; three blind fillets to form a frame on covers; six raised bands on spine decorated with blind fillets; red edges; one additional flyleaf at the beginning and two at the end of the volume.
