19th-century armorial bookplate of Eton School Library on front pastedown.
?17th-century calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with triple blind fillets to form a border; gilt roll on boards edges (almost completely faded). Spine rebacked with three raised bands, decorated with blind fillets and gilt titling over dark brown morocco label ("Titles of honour -- John Selden"; "1614"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red (mostly faded). Endpapers of undecorated paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
Unlike the ESTC record, this copy does not present a bifolium signed * between gathering a and b.
