Binding

16th/17th-century speckled sheepskin over pasteboards. Cover decorated with double blind fillets to form a border and a panel with blind tools on the outer corners; the speckled pattern does not cover the inner panel. Spine rebacked with four raised bands, decorated with gilt rolls, tools and titling over red label ("Segar's booke of honor"). Textblock trimmed. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
