?18th-century red sheepskin over wood boards. Covers decorated with blind fillets to form a border and panels; vertical lines blind-tooled on central panel with horizontal blind roll depicting clubs at the top and bottom of the panel; blind tools at the corners; transversal blind fillets on boards edges; gilt roll on turn-ins. Spine with four raised bands; decorated with blind fillets and tools, as well as gilt titling ("Heylyn's heraldry."; "1709"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of yellow (pastedown and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
Signature A4 appears on corresponding leaf.
