Ex dono label of Joseph Frederick Burrell, dated 1983, on front pastedown.

Binding

?19th-century black morocco over mill/pasteboards. Covers decorated with gilt dotted roll to form a border and a different blind roll also forming a border; gilt transversal fillets on corners of board edges; single gilt fillet on turn-ins. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with blind and gilt tools, gilt dotted roll and gilt titling ("Accedens of armory London 1568"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of purple (pastedown and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
