?19th-century ?goatskin and red paper over pasteboards. Covers decorated with triple gilt fillets to separate leather from paper. Spine flat, decorated with gilt titling ("Accedence of armorie 1597"). Textblock trimmed. Endpapers of brown (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
Ms. inscription on title page: "Benedictinorum Anglorum s[anc]ti Edmundi Parisiis".
