Sammelband. Repaired 18th-century partly speckled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with double blind fillets to form a border; blind rolls form two concentric panels with tools at the outer corners; speckled pattern only on inner and outer panels; gilt roll on board edges (now almost completely faded). Spine rebacked with five raised bands, decorated with blind rolls and tools, as well as gilt titling ("Mackenzie -- Scotland's heraldry"; "1680"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
[Copy 2] 17th century mottled calf; five raised bands with gold fillets and gold titling on red leather; rebacked; red and brown sprinckled edges; one flyleaf on both ends.
