19th-century quarter-bound red morocco and marbled paper (combed pattern) over mill/pasteboards. Covers decorated with blind double fillets to separate leather from paper. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt tools and titling ("Military antiquities"; "Grose -- vol. [I/II.]"). Textblock trimmed and marbled (same pattern as covers). Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
