19th-century armorial binding -- mottled calfskin over mill/pasteboards. Covers decorated with gilt roll to form a border; centrepiece is a coat of arms with a crown and motto motto "honi soit qui mal y pense"; transversal gilt fillets on board edges. Spine flat, decorated with gilt tools and titling on green label ("Ireland's views of the Inns of Court"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled green. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
