?18th/19th-century armorial binding -- mottled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with gilted coat of arms displaying three birds (unidentified). Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt fillets, tools, and titling ("Toscane francoi"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
Unpaginated table of contents has been inserted between pp. 280-281 -- it was probably due to appear after p. 560.
