20th-century quarter-bound calfskin and marbled paper by Charles McLeish, dated June 1954. Covers undecorated. Spine with two raised bands, decorated with gilt titling ("Berners' Gentleman's academy -- 1595"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of modern laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.

Imperfect: starts with leaf 29, i.e. the title oage of "A treatise of hunting". It also lacks leaves 62, 63.
