Binding
?18th-century dark brown pigskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with double gilt fillets on board edges and gilt roll on turn-ins. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt titling ("Chevillard -- Chevaliers du Saint-Esprit"; "Tome [1/2]"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
