?16th-century calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with double blind fillets to form a border with circle tools at the corners; blind roll on board edges and turn-ins. Spine with four raised bands, decorated with blind fillets and gilt tiling over black label ("Queen Elizabeth's prayer book"). Textblock trimmed and dyed blue/black. Endpapers of undecorated paper; one flyleaf at the upper end of the textblock, two at the lower end.
Bookseller's ms. note on front pastedown: "extremely scarce".
