The 8 portraits are engraved by William Rogers, and have Latin inscriptions. Variant: portraits lack inscriptions. some copies may also have a frontispiece portrait of Segar by Francis Delaram.
Leaves F2 and G3 are blank.

19th/20th-century white cloth over mill/pasteboards. Covers undecorated. Spine found, decorated with gilt titling over dark brown morocco label ("Honor Segar"). Textblock trimmed. Endpapers of undecorated paper; one flyleaf at the upper end of the textblock, two at the lower end.
Sale catalogue entry glued on rear pastedown suggests the volume's original binding had survived until that point.
