Burmese fragment in Pali containing a passage from the Tipitaka, the Theravada Buddhist canon, that relates to the ritual for the ordination of a Buddhist monk.

Written on a brass sheet (?) in the shape of palm leaf with gilt and red decorations. The leaf has two holes in it in which small bamboo sticks were usually inserted in order to hold more leaves together.
