Inscription by Michael Wodhull dated 21 August 1779 on the second front flyleaf with cost of binding. With the same ink on the left corner of the page it is written 'Whites sale'. Date 17 August 1785 probably by his hand on the back flyleaf.
Note ' Collated and complete, all the arms colour'd' on the secont front flyleaf.
Later note on the Wodhull sale which took place on 30 November 1886 on the second front flyleaf.
Two cuttings from two sale catalogues pasted on the verso of the first flyleaf with the notes 'Wodhull sale 1886' and 'collated'.

19th century straight-grain green binding with triple gold fillet to form a frame on boards and armorial centrepiece; rich gold decoration on spine with gold titling on red leather; yellow edges; marbled endpapers; two undecorated flyleaves on both sides.
Parts bound in different position in this copy (Connestables, Mareschaulx, Admiraulx, Grands maistres, Chanceliers, Prevostz de Paris).
