Provenance

Letter from Claudius Buchanan dated College of Fort William March 21 1805 pasted on the first flyleaf informing that the ship on board which there were some Oriental works for Eton College was captured and carried into the Mauritius.

Binding

19th century mottled binding; spine decorated with gold fillets, tools and titling; red, blue and black sprinkled edges; one flyleaf at the beginning and the end of book.
