Scope and content: An autobiography of Elizabeth Paschal O'Connor, who was born in Austin, Texas in 1850. Married to Thomas Power O'Connor (1848-1929), who was a journalist, an Irish nationalist political figure, and a member of parliament (MP) in the House of Commons of Great Britain and Ireland, Elizabeth was also a journalist and writer. Together she and her husband published the Star newspaper, while Elizabeth wrote I Myself (1910), Little Thank You (1912), My Beloved South (1913), Dog Stars (1915), Herself Ireland (1917), and The Hat of Destiny (1923). She died in London on 1 September 1931.
