16th (English?) leather binding; blind roll to form vertical and horizontal strips design on covers with a saltire cross in the centre and a blind fillets frame along the borders; six raised bands on spine decorated with blind fillets; remnants of fastenings and a chain; old manuscript on parchment used as support for the spine; one additional flyleaf at the beninng and two at the end of the book.
