Binding

20th-century orange morocco over ?millboards. Covers decorated with triple gilt fillets to form a border, armorial gilt centrepiece; double gilt fillets on board edges; gilt roll with floral motif on turn-ins. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt fillets, tools, and titling ("Old plate of William Francis Farrer"). Textblock untrimmed; gilted top fore-edge only. Endpapers of green silk and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at the upper end of the textblock, two at the lower end. Kept in a book sleeve.
