Handwriting: written in an early 19th-century English hand mainly on the verso of the leaves.
Decoration: watercolours illustrating some verses of the poems on the recto of the leaves.
Signed by Mr William Pott on the front pastedown.
Includes five tickets to Eton Montem dated 1838-1844 pasted on the back pastedown.
Price £55-60 in pencil on the first folio by modern hand.
19th century red grain paper with floral open pattern and brown borders; red marbled paper on pastedown; remnants of a green tie on the back pastedown. Binding bigger than the item, probably reused.
Printed broadside 'The Montem ode May 20, 1823' pasted on ff. 35v-36r.
