Binding

19th century red grain paper with floral open pattern and brown borders; red marbled paper on pastedown; remnants of a green tie on the back pastedown. Binding bigger than the item, probably reused.

The broadside is pasted inside Ms 397, An illuminated collection of choice fugitive pieces composed in the merry month of May 1823 selected with impartiality from the portfolios of the several authors when sojorning at Salt Hill under the kind auspices of their friend Gulielmus Pott, Eton 1823, ff. 35r-36v.
