Leaf 4: 1 ms. inscription by the composer thanking Mr. Nicholson? for handling a related cheque and stating that Boosey & Hawkes has already received a ms. of the Organ Fantasy, dated August 19.

Ms. note on leaf 2 verso (accompanying material): "The Organ Fantasy was commissioned by Eton College to celebrate the restoration of the college Chapel Organ and fist performed there by Alastair Sapson in a concert on Saturday May 2nd 1987".
