Note

Accompanied by a family tree, two TLS to the editor from Marjorie Villiers, editor of The Harvill Press dated 1970-1977 commenting on the memoir, and an ALS from the author's cousin Mary Lutyens (Mrs J. G. Links) donating the memoir to Eton College in 1985.

According to inserted ALS, donated to Poppy Anderson by Mary Lutyens (Mrs J G Links) at the request of her cousin, A E Villiers, 29 March 1985.
