Two framed locks of hair tied with a violet thread and laid on paper, one with note 'Malibran's hair when cut during her last illness; preserved by Mr Vincent Novello'. No notes on back; another one with note 'Malibran's hair given by her husband C. de Bériot September 23rd 1936 M.S.N.', possibly Mary Sabilla Novello, Mary Clarke's mother.
