Description
In centre portrait of dead man in shell held below by small figures rising from waves between a sea-ram and a sea-boar and at each side by sea-centaurs, on whose backs ride nymphs with billowing drapery. On left and right a nymph with drapery arching over her back, attended by a putto, floats with her arm across the neck of the sea-bull. From the waves beneath each rises a sea-monster.
