Content (description)

Dionysus supported by a satyr dismounts towards Ariadne who reclines in centre, with satyr and draped maenad at her head. Putto holding grapes and small Pan lead way for Dionysus. Maenad and satyr in background by Dionysus left and sheep lies on rocks over Ariadne. On right draped female holds arm of Pan, who moves right, and holds object aloft in right hand bending over ram and panther at her feet. On ground stands conical flask-like object.
