Description
Content (description)
On left stand two huntsmen with a dog and a horse. In centre the hero spurs on his horse and aims his spear at a lion which leaps up from right. A draped and armed female, Virtus, follows the hero and gestures towards him. On right a hunter rides to right but looks back to hero. Beneath the hero's horse lies a wounded hunter holding a spear. Hounds rush in to attack the lion. A dead lion lies bottom right. Far right stand two more huntsmen.
