Description
Content (description)
In centre two putti hold with one hand a tondo in which is a portrait of dead woman. Beneath the tondo are two figures: a putto with a torch, and a reclining female. The putti each stretch their other hand back over their head to hold the end of a garland of leaves, the outer ends of which are held by putti who emerge from acanthus leaves. Over each garland are set two masks on a groundline, facing one another.
