Content (description)
According to Montelatici, a restored piece. On left Orestes stands with arm outstretched. Clytemnestra lies dead at his feet and Aegisthus (?) kneels over her. A female stands in background in an attitude of grief or fear. In centre a curtain hangs over two herms and a man crouches on the ground in front of it. Over it appear two heads of waiting Furies. On right a Fury rests on the ground holding her torch downwards and a snake in the other hand. Orestes steps across her to left. On far right is a rock mound.
