1 and 4. Front. Five deeds are presented each in an arch supported on Corinthian columns. Hercules is shown as a bearded and oldish man. The deeds shown are, from left: the Cretan bull, Geryon, Hippolyta, the dragon of the Hesperides and Nessus.
2 and 3. Back. Again five arches, each containing a representation of one of Hercules' deeds. Hercules is now shown as a youth. From l. the deeds are the Nemean lion, the Lernaean hydra, Erimanthean boar, the hind and (not clear in the drawing) the Stymphalian birds.
Beneath the reliefs on both sides run friezes showing hunting scenes on rocky ground, with trees her and there. A kneeling man closes each end of both friezes.
