Description
Content (description)
The panel is divided roughly in half by a horizontal rock line, below which are three cows in various attitudes. Above the rock on right , Paris sits to left on a rocky mound, wearing a cap, trousers, tunic and cape; he rests his left hand on his staff, and holds up a pipe in his right. He turns to right where a nude putto stands by his shoulder, whispering in his ear. A dog sits on the ground on right. In the background in the centre a tree grows in a triangular architectural feature topped by a vase. A small oak tree grows on left.
