A garland of fruit, leaves and flowers hangs across the front from the horns of two fleshless boukrania. Two birds crouch beneath the garland and look upwards. Over the garland is a panel with the inscription: VF/ GENEUS PECCATIUS/ BALBUS VI VIR/ SIBI ET E PEC/ VIXI FAN IXI
