Description
The deep bowl stands on a conical foot; acanthus leaves decorate both the foot and the bottom of the bowl. From them spring floral scrolls on which are two insects and four birds. Two Ammon heads are set at the rim in place of handles. At the centre front just below the rim is a panel with the inscription T?N ATO?M/ H MNHMH/ AEIOA?HE. The knobbed lid is decorated with floral scroll.
