Description
On left the eagle, with outspread wings, rises behind Ganymede who, nude but for a cloak round his neck, rests one knee on a rock in front of a tree trunk. On right a bearded river god with his legs draped reclines at the foot of a tree, resting his elbow on an overturned urn from which flows water; he rests his right hand on a staff.
