Description
Bearded Pluto, holding a trident in his left hand, holds struggling Proserpine in his right arm and drives in his chariot to right. The horse's head is missing. A draped youth carries a bundle to right by the side of the horse. A nude putto stands precariously on the back of the chariot and gestures to left, where a half-draped youth holding a staff sits to left on a high rock and turns to watch the events on right. A female in the background on left holds a tympanum.
