Content (description)
In the centre stand a draped man and woman, clasping hands. Between them at their feet is a round pedestal or a book chest, with a bundle of rolls on top. In the background between them stands a man who looks at the woman and holds his arm round her shoulders. A curtain hangs in the background. This group is flanked by two panels of strigil fluting. At the far right stands a draped bearded man, holding a roll and with a bundle of rolls at his feet; at far left stands a draped woman with her head covered. These outer figures look towards the centre; curtains are draped behind them. All the figures are set on pedestals.
