Description
107: front. A garland of fruit and leaves hangs from the horns of Ammon heads at the top corners; fillets are tied in a bow at the top of the heads. An eagle perches on the garland, holding a snake in its beak. Sphinxes sit on projecting rocks at the bottom corners. At bottom centre, below the sphinxes' rocks, a dog lies to left facing an overturned urn from which flows liquid. At top centre is a panel with the inscription: DIIS MANIBUS/ TICIAUDIIQVIR/ ALEXANDRI/ PHILOSOPHI STOICI/ BACCHYLUSET/ AMBROTUSLIB/PATRONO/BENEMERENTI.
108: left side. A garland of leaves hangs from an Ammon head at the front and from a ram's head at the back. Over the garland two birds fly down to feed three fledglings, one holding an insect. Over them is a jug. At the bottom corners sit a sphinx (on the front) and a large bird (at the back)
109: right side. As the left side, but with a patera in place of the jug.
