Description
Content (description)
The top of the urn is pedimented, with a patera flanked by two rosettes and two tiny paterae as decoration. The front is occupied mostly with an inscription panel, which is framed with a plain moulding and surmounted by an empty pediment. In the top corners flanking this pediment are rosettes and palmettes. A garland of leaves hangs at each side of the panel. The inscription reads D M/ T PUBLILIU SEVERIANU/ FECIT/ PUBLILIO SEVERIANO/ PATRI B M.
