Description
Content (description)
The urn is topped by two rosettes flanking a pediment, in which is a rosette betwen two flaming torches. Along the bottom of the urn is a panel with the inscription: P ETRILIUS ABASCANTUS/ ETRILIAE DANAE UXORI/KARISSIMAE. Over this panel a draped woman reclines on cushions on a high-sided couch, at each side of which stands a burning torch.
