Content (description)
The urn is crowned by two interlocking pediments, which are decorated with rosettes and 'horns' of leaves. On the body two griffins sit facing outwards but turn their heads back to look at the central panel, on the moulding of which are the letters D M. The inscription in the panel reads M SABURIUS LIGUS/ FAL ALBINTIMILI/ EVOC AUG SAL VI/ VIX ANN XXXVIII/ PROFECIT EX COH V/ P R.
