Description
A nude satyr, with a skin slung over his shoulders and wearing a wreath, reclines on rocks with a wineskin in his left hand. He gazes upwards in pain while Pan, crouching on the ground, removes a splinter from his right foot, which he is holding up for this purpose. Pan wears a wreath of leaves and a skin slung round his shoulders.
