Description
Seven spirally fluted columns on projecting bases divide the front and support a high entablature, which projects over the two columns at each end and over the three central columns. In each intercolumniation is a single figure. On left a nude Dionysus (?) holding a bunch of grapes in each hand, then a dancing draped maenad, a nude youth holding a yoke diagonally across his back with a swag of leaves and fruit hanging from each end, and then three figures of Hercules on bases. The first Hercules has a skin over his shoulder and holds or rests on a knob-like object; next is a Hercules of the Farnese type, and last Hercules with a skin over his head and arm, holding out apples.
