Description
Four figures are shown from the waist up. Two victimarii wearing kilts, the one on right carrying an axe, the other with a knife at his waist, lead a bull to left. It is adorned ready for sacrifice with fillets and an elaborate headdress. On left a man plays a double flute to left and a bearded onlooker stands in profile to right. All wear wreaths. In the background on left is most of the facade of the tetrastyle temple, its pediment decorated with a shield in front of crossed spears and various ritual objects. On right in the background stands a great doorway flanked by two columns, between the capitals of which is draped a garland.
