Description
An area is marked off at bottom centre, roughly rectangular with a protrusion upwards in the middle. In this area is the bust of a woman (?), holding a roll, in front of a curtain held by two nude youths, each of whom holds a pedum. The bust is flanked by two female figures, who recline on rocks and look to the centre. Above the bust, two draped figures, one male one female, stand in front of a curtain which hangs in a deep drape. At each side sits a draped man holding a roll, the one on left facing the viewer, the other bearded and facing and pointing to the centre. On right side a nude female with a billow of drapery over her head sits to left on a sphere with a wheel behind her feet. A nude youth holding a roll stands to left, partly hidden by her. On left side, a half-draped male with an ivy wreath and thyrsus stands facing the viewer, but turning his head slightly to right. Top left and partly hidden by him is a draped figure holding out an object (bird?) to right.
